The cafe stands at the end of a long, very narrow alley-way, one and a half blocks south of Shijo Street along Teramachi, and on the west side. (Beside the entrance to Miko-an you'll see Dagashi-ya, a Japanese sweet shop.)

A sign for Miko-an stands on the street beside the alley-way, but look carefully, because it is easy to pass without noticing it, especially during the day-time. As soon as the sun sets, the sign and entrance-way are illuminated.
